Brown Services using Shibboleth Single Sign On and general network connectivity experienced intermittent outages on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 from 6:40 a.m. to 08:47 a.m. During this time, users may have experienced issues logging in to Brown services or connecting to services on the Internet from campus networks. This issue is now resolved and OIT is analyzing the root cause. Please report any further problems to the OIT Service Center at https://ithelp.brown.edu/.

This incident affected: Network Connectivity and Telecommunications (Wired Network, Wireless network (Brown, Brown-Guest, & Eduroam)) and Information Security and Accounts (Shibboleth Single-Signon Authentication).
